Just a few tips from Odie to keep it like new:

Mineral Oil

Your cutting board has been treated with a food-safe mineral oil finish to protect the wood from drying out and cracking. The finish is designed to wear off - reapply once a month with a clean rag/paper towel to keep your board well maintained. Food-safe mineral oil can be found at most drug stores and pharmacies for just a few bucks (like here) – ensure the bottle says “food grade” or “USP grade”. 

Cleaning
Hand wash your cutting board with warm soap and water and avoid the dishwasher! Consider using one board for meats/poultry/seafood and a separate one for fruits/vegetables.

Raised Grain
In some instances, wood grain can raise when it gets wet, causing the board to feel “fuzzy”. This is completely normal will wear off with use. You can also sand the board smooth using a small sheet of fine sandpaper (re-apply mineral oil).

With a bit of care, they will serve you well for many years!
